Costco vs Amazon.com vs Diapers.com (of course now owned by Amazon). Who Wins?
According to the TTV Moms, Huggies and Pampers are the top of the diaper world. We’ve had some successes with cheaper brands such as Luvs and Kirkland Diapers, but we will stick to the main 2 brands to start with.
Here’s a quick comparison:
Costco as low as [15.3 cents per diaper]
Size 3 Huggies Diapers 228 count: $39.99 [17.5 cents per diaper] with $5 off coupon [15.3 cents per diaper]
Amazon.com as low as [13.9 cents per diaper]
Size 3 Pampers Diapers 144 count: $29.99 or $19.99 with Amazon Mom and Subscribe and Save [13.9 cents per diaper]
Just don’t forget to cancel your subscription after it ships (you won’t get the same price on the subsequent deliveries). $29.99 is the sale price that comes along every now and then (As low as 27.99).
Diapers.com Huggies as low as [19.2 cents per diaper]
Huggies Size 3 156 count: 29.99 with $5 off program [19.2 cents per diaper]
Diapers.com Pampers as low as [19.2 cents per diaper]
Pampers Size 3 186 count: $39.99 with $5 off program [21.5 cents per diaper]
Conclusion: If you’re a huggies person, you probably want to consider Costco for diapers especially when the $5 off coupon comes around. If either brand suits you or if you need smaller sizes (Costco starts at size 2 for the value boxes), amazon has better value if you can catch it during the sale periods or coupons (either Amazon online coupons or sometimes they run in parenting magazines). We like to stock up at both places whenever there is a sale or coupon. Sweet spot is around 15 cents per diaper.
Best of Luck…
